The feeder can be powered by the methods outlined below
- The use of batteries without the power adapter.
- The use of the power adapter without batteries.
- The use of batteries in conjunction with the power adapter (as back-up)
Only new alkaline batteries should be used with the unit and they should be properly positioned in the order illustrated in the compartment. The use of batteries (by itself), last approximately 6 months of continuous use and a low battery indicator appears on the screen, when a change is needed.
The length of the power adapter’s cord is 6 feet.
